Kumara to Cowboy Paradise Section is OPEN and Fully Functioning across the Fords.
Cowboy Paradise is OPEN (for over night guests and day visitors) and has been since the storm. We Expect to have the section between Cowboy Paradise and the Arahura River cleared and operational in 2-3 days. In the meantime cyclists can use the Cowboy Paradise Access road to the upper Arahura Bridge.
Cowboy Paradise Offers a Free Shuttle service to Lake Kanerie for any over night guests wishing to continue onto Hokitika.
If you have a Reservation and/or a planning on staying at Cowboy Paradise in the next few days. There is no need to change or alter your plans.
Located exactly halfway between Kumara and Hokitika on the Cycleway, this is the only genuine accommodation available in the Upper Arahura Valley.
Cowboy Paradise has seven en-suite family units available. Each unit comes with a queen bed and a set of bunks.
